How to put your project into the studentshare (T) drive

1. Your project should be CLOSED and saved on one of these:

  • network (U) or
  • computer (desktop) or
  • your flashdrive.

 

2. Go to MY Computer and open the location where your project is saved.

Do not open the project file.

Make sure your project is named appropriately.

3. Go to My Computer again, and click open the T drive .

Now you have two open windows.

4. On the T drive, find and open the correct folder (check with Mrs. Pledger and Mr. Paris).

You should now be able to see both your PROJECT file and the open TEACHER file.

 

5. COPY your project from your computer/network/flashdrive

 

6. PASTE it into the correct folder on the T drive. Make sure it has your NAME in the file name.

7. Check to see that your file has content (HINT: 0 kb means that your file is empty)

In Windows 7, you can see this at the bottom of the folder window if your file is highlighted.
